Application: FlowSample Tested: Peripheral blood monocytes,Peripheral blood T cellsSpecies: HumanVerified Customer | Posted 05/31/2016Detection of IL18R alpha /IL-1R5 expression in lymphocytes and monocytes by flow cytometry: Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were isolated by Ficoll gradient method from freshly drawn blood and stained for IL18Ralpha using the R&D mouse Anti-human IL-18alpha/IL-1R5-APC antibody (cat# FAB840A). As suggested by the manufacturer, 10ul of antibody was used per 10e6 cells. After gating on CD3+ lymphocytes (Fig.1a) and CD14+ monocytes (Fig.1b), IL-18Ralpha expression on T lymphocytes and monocytes were analyzed. Panel 1 shows Fluorescence Minus One (FMO) which served as negative control; panel 2 shows IL18alpha+ cells; panel 3 shows overlay of panel 1 and panel 2.
