Species: MouseAssay Type: In VivoI infused the NBQX disodium salt (22 mM) into mouse brain to block AMPA receptors in the striatum. This was done by using an internal infusion cannula. The disodium salt is the best choice for this kind of experiment because it is soluble in aqueous solutions such as NaCl 0.9%. NBQX is more specific and potent than DNQX.Always make fresh solutions
