Western blot shows lysates of Daudi human Burkitt's lymphoma cell line, Raji human Burkitt's lymphoma cell line, Ramos human Burkitt's lymphoma cell line, and NRK rat normal kidney cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 0.2 µg/mL of Human/Mouse/Rat Fgr Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3207) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF007). A specific band was detected for Fgr at approximately 59 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 3.

Background: Fgr

Fgr is the cellular homolog of the oncogenic protein encoded by the Gardner-Rasheed feline sarcoma virus. A member of the Src family of non‑receptor tyrosine kinases, Fgr is predominantly expressed in neutrophils, macrophages, monocytes, and natural killer cells. Mice lacking Fgr fail to recruit eosinophils to the lung during allergic airway inflammation.
