Human CGRP Antibody

Detection of Human CGRP by Western Blot.

Western blot shows lysates of TT human medullary thyroid cancer cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 0.5 µg/mL of Mouse Anti-Human CGRP Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB11293) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF018). A specific band was detected for CGRP at approximately ~9 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Western Blot Buffer Group 1.

Detection of CGRP in Pancreas.

CGRP was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of Pancreas using Mouse Anti-Human CGRP Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB11293) at 2 µg/mL for 1 hour at room temperature followed by incubation with the Anti-Mouse IgG VisUCyte™ HRP Polymer Antibody (Catalog # VC001). Before incubation with the primary antibody, tissue was subjected to heat-induced epitope retrieval using VisUCyte Antigen Retrieval Reagent-Basic (Catalog # VCTS021). Tissue was stained using DAB (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to islet cells. Detection of CGRP in TT (Positive) & THP-1 (Negative).

CGRP was detected in immersion fixed TT human medullary thyroid cancer cell line (Positive) & absent in THP-1 human acute monocytic leukemia cell line (Negative) using Mouse Anti-Human CGRP Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB11293) at 8 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (red; Catalog # NL007) and counterstained with DAPI (blue).
