Species: HumanAssay Type: Ex VivoCell Line/Tissue: Stem cell - derived neuronsDNQX was used to block spontaneous AMPA-receptor – generated excitatory post-synaptic currents (EPSCs) in stem-cell derived cultured dopamine neurons. 20 µM DNQX fully suppressed EPSC propagation, thus confirming the compound's specificity (see illustration). Preparation of 10 mM DMSO stock requires long sonication; in all other respects it is a perfect AMPA-receptor antagonist.
