In direct ELISAs, approximately 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) Integrin beta2 and recombinant mouse (rm) Integrin beta6 is observed and less than 1% cross-reactivity with rhIntegrin beta1 and rmIntegrin beta4 is observed.

Detection of Human Integrin beta3/CD61 by Western Blot.

Western blot shows lysates of Jurkat human acute T cell leukemia cell line and DU145 human prostate carcinoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human Integrin beta3/ CD61 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF2266) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (HAF017). A specific band was detected for Integrin beta3/CD61 at approximately 100 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.

Detection of Human Integrin beta3/CD61 by Simple Western^TM.

Simple Western shows lysates of Exosome Standards (HT-29) (NBP3-11685) and U-87 MG human glioblastoma/astrocytoma cell line, loaded at 0.5 mg/ml. A specific band was detected for Integrin beta3/CD61 at approximately 116 kDa (as indicated) using 20 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human Integrin beta3/CD61 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF2266). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using the 12-230kDa separation system.

Integrin beta3, also called CD61, associates with the Integrin alphaIIb or alphaV subunits to form heterodimeric receptors for collagens, fibronectin, vitronectin, fibrinogen, Von willebrand factor or thrombospondin. alphaIIb/ beta3, also known as GPIIb IIIa (Glycoprotein IIb-IIIa), is expressed on platelets. alphaV/ beta3, also known as vitronectin receptor, is expressed on endothelial cells, some B cells, platelets and monocytes.
