DHX8 Products

DHX8 is a member of the DEAD box protein family, which is characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD). The DEAD or DEAH motif is characteristic of a family of putative ATP-dependent RNA helicases. DHX8 has a role in nuclear export of spliced mRNA by releasing the RNA from the spliceosome.
