In this application note, the results from two techniques, CE-SDS on the Maurice system and traditional SDS-PAGE , were compared for data quality, sensitivity, and reproducibility.
- Three molecules – a mAb (Belimumab), AAV8, and AAV9 were analyzed with both methods
- Total peak area and percent peak area were measured for detected peaks/bands, where CE-SDS consistently showed superior reproducibility and precision
- Automation with CE-SDS afforded faster and streamlined workflows, providing quantitative results while eliminating user-generated variability
