CGP 3466B maleate is an orally active glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) inhibitor. Exhibits antiapoptotic activity via inhibition of GAPDH nuclear translocation and mitochondrial complex 1-dependent H2O2 release.
