Minimum reactivity to mouse and rat.
Specificity
By immunoelectrophoresis and ELISA this antibody reacts specifically with F(ab')2 fragments of human IgG. Cross reactivity with IgA and IgM is negligible. No antibody was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. Antiserum was cross adsorbed using mouse and rat immunosorbents to remove cross reactive antibodies. Less than 1% cross reactivity to mouse and rat IgG was detected. This antibody may cross react with F(ab')2 fragments of IgG from other species.
