Methanesulfonic Acid Stop Solution, 16 x 12 mL vials

INTENDED USE & DESCRIPTION

Stop Solution (Part # 642827) contains 16 vials (12 mL/vial) of methanesulfonic acid for the stopping the action of horseradish peroxidase on the tetramethylbenzidine substrate in an ELISA.

STORAGE & STABILITY

Store unopened at 2-25 °C. Stable for up to expiration date stated on the label when handled properly, for both opened and unopened vials and bottles. Do not pipette directly from vials or bottles; pour only what is needed. Do not return unused material to vials or bottles.

PROCEDURE

Add 100 µL/well to stop the action of horseradish peroxidase on the substrate, tetramethylbenzidine. If the color in the wells is green or the color change does not appear to be uniform, gently tap the plate to ensure thorough mixing.
