Product Feature: CoraFluor Probes for TR-FRET
CoraFluor™ 1, amine reactive (Catalog:7920) and CoraFluor™ 2, amine reactive (Catalog # 7950) are terbium-based probes that have been developed for use as TR-FRET donors. They emit wavelengths compatible with commonly used fluorescent acceptor dyes such as BODIPY® (or BDY) and Janelia Fluor® dyes, FITC (Catalog # 5440), TMR and Cyanine 5 (Catalog # 5436). CoraFluor™ fluorescence is brighter and more stable in biological media than existing TR-FRET donors, leading to enhanced sensitivity and improved data generation. CoraFluor™ 1 exhibits excitation upon exposure to a 337 nm UV laser.Applications for Relaxin-3 Antibody (MM0526-7G14) [CoraFluor™ 1]

Background: Relaxin-3
The Insulin/Relaxin superfamily includes Insulin, IGF-I, IGF-II, Relaxins, Relaxin-like Factor (RLF), Early Placenta Insulin-like Peptide 4 (INSL4), INSL5, and INSL6. Three human Relaxin genes (Relaxins-1 to -3) have been identified. Relaxin-2 is secreted and circulates in the blood, whereas Relaxin-1 is expressed in decidua, placenta, and prostate, and Relaxin-3 is expressed in the brain. Human Relaxin-2 is a peptide hormone that plays an important role in female reproduction.
