Immunoprecipitation: PSF1 Antibody [NBP2-30365] - Detection of human PSF1 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from 293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-PSF1 antibody NBP2-30365 used for IP at 6 ug per reaction. PSF1 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-PSF1 antibody NBP2-32156. For blotting immunoprecipitated PSF1, A304-168A was used at 1 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

The yeast heterotetrameric GINS complex is made up of Sld5 (GINS4; MIM 610611), Psf1, Psf2 (GINS2; MIM 610609), and Psf3 (GINS3; MIM 610610). The formation of the GINS complex is essential for the initiation of DNA replication in yeast and Xenopus egg extracts (Ueno et al., 2005 [PubMed 16287864]).[supplied by OMIM]
