In direct ELISAs, 100% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse (rm) EphB6 is observed, 25% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) EphA10 is observed, and no cross-reactivity with rhEphA1, 2, 5, rhEphB3, 4, rmEphA1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, rmEphB2, 3, recombinant rat (rr) EphA5, or rrEphB1 is observed.

Background: EphB6
EphB6, also known as Hep and Mep, is a 110 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein in the Eph receptor tyrosine kinase family. EphB6 is expressed in brain, pancreas, thymus, kidney, and on peripheral T cells. Depending on concentration, Ephrin-B2 can either inhibit or promote EphB6 mediated cell adhesion and migration. EphB6 participates in T cell activation, and its level of expression is inversely correlated with tumor aggressiveness in a variety of malignancies. Within the ECD, human EphB6 shares 91% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat EphB6.
