Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin: epithelial Sodium Channel gamma Antibody [NBP1-06075]

Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin: epithelial Sodium Channel gamma Antibody [NBP1-06075] - (4ug/ml) staining of paraffin embedded Human Colon. Steamed antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6, AP-staining.

Applications for epithelial Sodium Channel gamma Antibody

Application
Recommended Usage

Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin

4 ug/ml

Peptide ELISA

Detection limit 1:16000

Western Blot

1 ug/ml
Application Notes
Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 140kDa band in Human Breast cancer and Colon lysates after 1ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 74.3kDa according to NP_001030.2. The 140kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
IHC: Paraffin embedded Human Colon.

Background: epithelial Sodium Channel gamma

Nonvoltage-gated, amiloride-sensitive, sodium channels control fluid and electrolyte transport across epithelia in many organs. These channels are heteromeric complexes consisting of 3 subunits: alpha, beta, and gamma. This gene encodes the gamma subunit, and mutations in this gene have been associated with Liddle syndrome. [provided by RefSeq]
