Product Specifications

Immunogen

This antibody was raised by immunising Lewis rats with transfected rat myeloma cell line YB2/0, expressing murine cytoplasmic-tailless IL-2R common gamma-chain (YB2/0-myt).

Specificity

This conformation-dependent antibody binds to the murine common gamma-chain, shared by the IL-2, IL-4, IL-7, IL-9, IL-15, and IL-21 receptor complexes. It recognises an epitope located in a membrane-proximal portion of the common gamma-chain, near Arg-197 of domain 2.

Clonality

Monoclonal

Host

Rabbit

Isotype

IgG Kappa

Description

This conjugate is made on demand and is not held in inventory. Each order represents a unique lot. All conjugates are generated using validated conjugation protocols and meet strict degree of labeling (F/P) specifications; additional information is available upon request. The antibody concentration is provided on the individual product label.

For specialized conjugation needs, like large quantities, specific concentrations, and defined F/P ratios, bulk and custom antibody conjugation services are available.

Background: Common gamma Chain/IL-2 R gamma

The interleukin 2 (IL2) receptor gamma chain (IL2RG), an important signalling component of many interleukin receptors(IL2,IL4,IL7,IL9, and IL15), is thus referred to as the common gamma chain. Mutations in this X-chromosome-linked genecause X-linked severe combined immunodeficiency (XSCID). (provided by RefSeq)
