If the image used for analysis has very bright Comets and/or is over-exposed, the software's dynamic range may prevent it from including dimmer Comets if they are adjacent to bright Comets. One way to get around this is to split the images into quadrants (or other pieces) so that the brightest spots are not close to the dim spots. The dimensions and resolution should not be changed when splitting images.
