Targeted Protein Degradation (TPD) is a simple and versatile method to knock-down a target protein of interest using small molecules (including PROTAC® Degraders, SNIPERS, molecular glues etc.) and is an area of increasing research interest. The PROTAC® Degraders approach employs bifunctional small molecules, which simultaneously bind to the target protein of interest and an E3 ligase to form a ternary complex. This initiates the ubiquitination of the target protein and its subsequent destruction by the proteasome. Using this technology, efficient and highly selective protein knock-down can be achieved both in vitro and in vivo. This brochure highlights the tools and services available from Bio-Techne to support your TPD research, including:
- Active Degraders
- Degrader Building Blocks
- PROTAC® Panel Builder
- TAG Degradation Platform
- Ubiquitin Proteasome System Proteins
- Assays for Targeted Protein Degradation
