Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence: c-Myc Antibody [NBP2-56660]
Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: c-Myc Antibody [NBP2-56660] - Staining of human cell line SK-MEL-30 shows localization to nucleoplasm.Chromatin Immunoprecipitation-exo-Seq: c-Myc Antibody - BSA Free [NBP2-56660]
ChIP-Exo-Seq composite graph for Anti-MYC (NBP2-56660) tested in K562 cells. Strand-specific reads (blue: forward, red: reverse) and IgG controls (black: forward, grey: reverse) are plotted against the distance from a composite set of reference binding sites. The antibody exhibits robust target enrichment compared to a non-specific IgG control and precisely reveals its structural organization around the binding site. Data generated by Prof. B. F. Pugh´s Lab at Cornell University.Applications for c-Myc Antibody - BSA Free

Background: c-Myc
A basic Helix-Loop-Helix, Leucine Zipper domain (bHLH/LZ), designated Max, specifically associates with c-Myc, N-Myc and L-Myc proteins. The Myc-Max complex binds to DNA in a sequence-specific manner under conditions where neither Max nor Myc exhibit appreciable binding. Max can also form heterodimers with other bHLH-Zip proteins, Mad and Mxi1. c-Myc plays a role in cell cycle progression, apoptosis, cellular transformation and angiogenesis (2). Mutations, overexpression, rearrangement and translocation of this gene have been associated with a variety of cancers including B-cell Lymphomas, acute myeloid leukemia, glioblastoma, stomach adenocarcinoma, and prostate adenocarcinoma (3).
