RFRP 3 (human) is an agonist of the NPFF1 receptor (IC50 = 0.7 nM for inhibition of forskolin-induced cAMP production). Homolog of gonadotropin-inhibitory hormone (GnIH); inhibits activity of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) neurons.
