Biological Activity for NTNCB hydrochloride

NTNCB hydrochloride is a selective, non-peptide competitive NPY Y₅ antagonist. K_i values are 8.0 and 16032 nM at human recombinant Y₅ and Y₁ receptors respectively. Potently antagonizes NPY inhibition of forskolin-stimulated cAMP. Displays some affinity for cloned human D₂ and α_2C receptors (K_i values are 63 and 100 nM respectively).
