Biological Activity for Anastrozole

Anastrozole is a potent and highly selective aromatase (CYP19) inhibitor (IC₅₀ = 15 nM) that has no discernible effect on adrenocorticoid hormone synthesis. Reduces plasma estrogen levels and exhibits antitumor activity in vivo. Orally active.
