Use for channel-based total protein normalization by fluorescent detection. Includes 8x Protein Normalization Reagent and Protein Normalization Reconstitution Agent. This kit is only and is recommended for use with target proteins in the range of 12-230 kDa and sample concentrations that are within 0.2-1.2 mg/mL for single or multiplex applications. For targets that are higher molecular weight and more dilute sample concentrations we recommend the sequential protein normalization method (Chemiluminescent TPN detection with RePlex Module)

For replacement solutions, we recommend Total Protein Normalization (TPN) using RePlex and Chemiluminescence Detection (DM-TP01 and RP-001), which offers improved sensitivity compared to the Protein Normalization Module. We also recently introduced a protocol for TPN using RePlex and NIR Detection, which is linear for high sample concentrations (0.5–2.5 mg/mL), facilitating the analysis of low abundance targets.
