Background: Hepatitis A Virus Antibody (IgM)

This assay employs the qualitative enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with anti-human IgM. Samples are pipetted into the wells and then human anti-HAV antibody (IgM) in sample is captured. After wash, add HAV antigen conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) into the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
