Terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT) is a DNA polymerase that catalyzes the template-independent addition of deoxyribonucleotides to the 3’ hydroxyl terminus of single- or double-stranded DNA.

Formulation, Preparation, and Storage

Shipping

The product is shipped with dry ice or equivalent. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended on the product label.

Storage

Store the unopened product at -70 °C. Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Do not use past expiration date.

Background: TdT

TdT is a nuclear enzyme involved in the recombination of Immunoglobulin and T cell receptor genes. TdT is expressed in early lymphoid cells and by tumor cells in certain classes of acute lymphoid leukemia.
