Philanthropy & Community Involvement

The company’s EPIC values also extend beyond its doors. Bio-Techne supports and actively contributes to each and every one of the many diverse communities in which it is involved around the globe and partners with educational establishments all over the world in support of education in the sciences.

In addition, Bio-Techne employees are encouraged each year to take a day of their working time to join activities in support of good causes. That’s up to 2100 working hours of community giving each year.

Spotlight On The Earth Trust

Bio-Techne EMEA has partnered with local charity, The Earth Trust, donating volunteer days and a financial contribution to plant 250 trees and restore ancient woodlands at Wittenham Clumps.

10 volunteers attended a recent tree planting day and have arranged an ongoing commitment to help clear land and restore areas of Thrupp Lake near the Bio-Techne office in Abingdon to benefit local wildlife.

As part of our corporate social responsibility, Bio-Techne is keen to work with this local charity to restore the environment for the benefit of all in the local community.
