Biological Activity for Fumagillin

Fumagillin is an antibiotic and antiangiogenic agent; covalently binds and inhibits methionine aminopeptidase-2. Inhibits endothelial cell proliferation in vitro and tumor-induced angiogenesis in vivo. Also inhibits tumor growth in mice.
