Why Use Pre-optimized and Serum-free Supplements for Cell Culture?
The efficiency of cell proliferation and maintenance of cell health can vary from one experiment to another depending on the media components, the supplements used to drive proliferation, and the quality of the starting cell population.

Stability and Storage
Store in the dark at < -20 °C in a manual defrost freezer. Do not use past the expiration date.
Precautions
This product contains human transferrin. This transferrin was purified from donor plasma and tested at the donor level using an FDA licensed method and found to be non-reactive for anti-HIV-1/2 and Hepatitis B surface antigen.

ITS-Plus Media Supplement Enhances Cell Viability Under Low Serum and Stress-induced Conditions.MDA-MB-231 cells (1 x 105/mL) were cultured for 3 days in serum-free medium, media with ITS-Plus Media Supplement (Catalog # AR014), or media with standard ITS Supplement. For each media condition, viable cells were counted in cultures with media alone (blue bars) or in media plus indomethacin (25 µg/mL; red bars).
