KIAA1161, also known as Uncharacterized family 31 glucosidase, is a 81kDa 714 amino acid protein that can be found in the membrane and belongs to the glycosyl hydrolase 31 family. During myoblast differentiation, KIAA1161 is believed to be responsible for communication from the nuclear interior and the ER lumen. It is known to interact with TIMM50.
