Product Feature: CoraFluor Probes for TR-FRET
CoraFluor™ 1, amine reactive (Catalog:7920) and CoraFluor™ 2, amine reactive (Catalog # 7950) are terbium-based probes that have been developed for use as TR-FRET donors. They emit wavelengths compatible with commonly used fluorescent acceptor dyes such as BODIPY® (or BDY) and Janelia Fluor® dyes, FITC (Catalog # 5440), TMR and Cyanine 5 (Catalog # 5436). CoraFluor™ fluorescence is brighter and more stable in biological media than existing TR-FRET donors, leading to enhanced sensitivity and improved data generation. CoraFluor™ 1 exhibits excitation upon exposure to a 337 nm UV laser.Applications for Kininogen Antibody [CoraFluor™ 1]

Background: Kininogen
Kininogen, also known as 2-thiol proteinase inhibitor, is a multi-functional protein. The high molecule weight (HMW) form of kininogen is synthesized as a precursor protein (amino acid residues 1 to 644). The mature chain (residues 19 to 644) is further processed into the heavy chain (residues 19 to 380) and the light chain (residues 390 to 644) with release of the active peptide bradykinin. The heavy chain consists of three cystatin-like domains, which inhibit cysteine proteases. The light chain consists of a His-rich domain, which is associated with clotting activity.
