Detection of GPRC5A in hGPRC5A HEK293/eGFP transfectants by Flow Cytometry.
HEK293 human embryonic kidney cell line transfected with (A) Human GPRC5A or (B) irrelevant protein and eGFP, was stained with Mouse Anti-Human GPRC5A Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB5239) followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (F0101B). Quadrant markers were set based on isotype control antibody (MAB003). Staining was performed using our Staining Membrane-Associated Proteins protocol.Detection of GPRC5A in A549 Human Cell Line by Flow Cytometry.
A549 human lung carcinoma cell line was stained with Mouse Anti-Human GPRC5A Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB5239, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (MAB003, open histogram), followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG F(ab')2Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0101B). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with saponin.Applications for Human GPRC5A Antibody

Background: GPRC5A
G-protein coupled receptor family C group 5 member A (GPRC5A), also known as Retinoic acid-induced gene 1 protein (RAIG-1), is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 3 family. It has a molecular weight of approximately 35 kDa and contains seven transmembrane domains. Human GPRC5A shares 76% and 74% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat GPRC5A, respectively. It is expressed at high levels in fetal and adult lung and is also present in fetal kidney and adult placenta, kidney, prostate, testis, ovary, small intestine, colon, stomach, and spinal chord at lower levels.
