UTF1: Lysates

UTF1 is a transcriptional coactivator that interacts with the metal-binding motif of Activation Transcription Factor-2 (ATF-2). UTF1 is expressed mainly in embryonic stem cells, is regulated by Oct-3/4, and promotes rapid cell proliferation. Unlike mouse UTF1, which contains an alternate start site at Met 43, human UTF1 lacks this methionine and shows only one isoform.
