GON4L: Proteins and Enzymes

The GON4 (GON4L) gene encodes a GON-4-like protein that exists in three isoforms: isoform 1 is 2,241 amino acids long at 248 kDA, isoform 2 is 1,529 amino acids long at 169 kDA, and isoform 3 is 2,240 amino acids long at 248 kDA. GON4 is known to interact with genes YY1, SIN3B, UBC, SUMO2, and SIN3A. It has been linked to research regarding nephronopthisis.
