BCAT2: Lysates

The BCAT2 gene encodes a branched chain aminotransferase found in mitochondria. The encoded protein forms a dimer thatcatalyzes the first step in the production of the branched chain amino acids leucine, isoleucine, and valine. Multipletranscript variants enco
