Biological Activity for Azathioprine

Azathioprine is a purine analog. Blocks DNA replication and the de novo pathway of purine synthesis. Immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory drug; induces apoptosis in human T-lymphocytes. Prodrug of 6-mercaptopurine (Cat. No. 4103).
