Monitoring the Interaction of SARS-CoV-2 with ACE-2 and the Resulting Immune Response with Flow Cytometry
Angiotensin Converting Enzyme 2 (ACE-2) is a widely expressed receptor that is utilized by coronaviruses and used as an entry port into cells. Viewers will gain insights into ACE-2 detection and blocking of the ACE-2/SARS-CoV-2 RBD interaction in an in vitro flow cytometry-based assay. We will also be looking at flow cytometry analysis of ACE-2 expression on monocytes, and immune cell response to IL-6.
