TRADD Products
TNF RI (Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor I) activation leads to the recruitment of the adapter protein TRADD (TNF RI-associated Death Domain) to the cytoplasmic death domain of TNF RI. The TRADD protein also contains a death domain with sequence similarity to that of TNF RI. In addition to the initiation of signaling events leading to apoptosis, the recruitment of TRADD or over-expression of the TRADD protein also activates the transcription factor NFkB.
