OR2Y1: Proteins and Enzymes

OR2Y1, also known as Olfactory receptor 2Y1, is a 34.7 kDa, 311 amino acid protein that is involved in recognition and transduction of odor signals as a member of the olfactory receptor gene family. Diseases and disorders such as reactive arthritis, neuronitis, spondyloarthropathy, and arthritis are being researched with the protein. The protein interacts with OR2B6, GNAL, OR10K2, OR52E6, and OR10R2 in olfactory and GPCR signal transduction pathways.
