NAPE-PLD (also known as N-Acylphosphatidylethanolamine (NAPE)-hydrolyzing phospholipase D) is a membrane-bound phospholipase D type enzyme that catalyzes the release of N-acylethanolamine (NAE) from N-acyl-phosphatidylethanolamine (NAPE) in the second step of the biosynthesis of N-acylethanolamine.
