The GNB1L gene codes a guanine nucleotide-binding protein subunit beta-like protein 1 that is a member of the WD repeat protein family. Isoform 1 is 327 amino acids long with a mass of around 35 kDA while isoform 2 exists at 212 amino acids long and nearly 23 kDA.
