ProtiFect STAR™ Protein Transfection Reagent is a transfection reagent capable of delivering a wide range of proteins with varying molecular weights (up to 240 kDa) and isoelectric points to the cytoplasm, including Cas9 ribonucleoproteins and BSA-FITC. ProtiFect STAR™ is a gemini amphiphile, which bypasses endocytic pathways. Can be used in vivo and in vitro in a variety of cell types including primary cells, T-cells, B-cells and stem cells.For more information on how to use ProtiFect STAR™, please see our protocol.
This compound is supplied pre-dissolved in ethanol (10 mg/mL).

Intracellular delivery of negatively charged green fluorescence protein (GFP), superoxide dismutase (SOD), ovalbumin (OVA), and positively charged lysozyme with a commercially available protein transfection reagent and ProtiFect STAR™. Sanger sequence (lower panel) performed by T-A cloning at KRAS locus was obtained from SW-480 cells. Three sequences of clones with mutations were represented.
