Product Description
NP3-253 is a potent and selective NLRP3 inflammasome inhibitor (IL-1β IC50 = 0.7 nM and 8 nM in THP1-1 cells and whole blood, respectively). It displays selectivity for NLRP3 over an off-target panel of 29 proteins, when tested up to 10 μM. In vitro, NP3-253 blocks IL-1β production and IL-18 maturation and pyroptosis. In mouse models, it blocks IL-1β secretion in the peritoneum, blood and cerebrospinal fluid. Brain penetrant and orally bioavailable.Product Specifications
