Biological Activity for Lei-Dab 7

Lei-Dab 7 is a high affinity, selective K_Ca2.2 (SK2) channel blocker (K_d = 3.8 nM). Exhibits >200-fold selectivity for K_Ca2.2 over K_Ca2.1, K_Ca2.3, K_Ca3.1, IK, K_v and K_ir2.1. Increases theta-burst responses and increases LTP in rat hippocampal slices in vitro. Convulsive in vivo.
