The product is shipped with polar packs. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.

Storage

• Store lyophilized controls at 2-8 °C. Lyophilized controls are stable for up to 12 months from date of receipt.
• Reconstituted controls are stable for up to 6 months from date of preparation when stored at ≤ -70 °C. Storage at -20° C is not recommended.
• Individual frozen aliquots of low and high controls are designed as single-use entities. Thaw directly before use and discard any remaining volume.

Background: CXCL11/I-TAC

Interferon-inducible T cell a chemoattractant (I-TAC), also known as SCYB9B, H174 and beta-R1, is a non-ELR motif-containing CXC chemokine. I-TAC shares 36% and 37% amino acid sequence homology with IP-10 and MIG , respectively. I-TAC is expressed at low levels in normal tissues, including thymus, spleen and pancreas.
