Background: Hepatitis B Virus Core Antibody

This assay employs the qualitative enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with HBcAg. Samples are pipetted into the wells with HBcAb conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP). Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in opposite to the amount of human anti-hepatitis B virus core antibody(HBcAb) in the samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
