Background: Myosin 1B

Myosin 1B is a motor protein which is involved in neuronal development, membrane trafficking/dynamics and functions including cell migration, vesicular transport and neurite outgrowth. Myosin 1B is known to have interactions with other proteins such as MAP3K3, RIPK3, BRF2, EIF4A2 and CIAO1. Myosin 1B has been studied in relation to neuronitis, amebiasis and dysentery.
