Description
Product Description
Key information: Phalloidin-TRITC is a red-orange fluorescent cytoskeleton stain. It binds and labels specifically F-actin.Used for: Phalloidin-TRITC can be used to visualize and quantify F-actin in tissue sections, cell cultures or cell-free experiments with optimal results in formaldehyde-fixed and permeabilized cells.
Application: fluorescent microscopy, immunofluorescence (IHC, ICC).
Properties and Photophysical Data: Phalloidin-TRITC is composed of the F-actin probe, Phalloidin (Cat. No. 4535), conjugated to Tetramethylrhodamine isothiocyanate (TRITC) dye. Phalloidin binds F-actin with high selectivity allowing Phalloidin-TRITC to stain actin with high-contrast discrimination. Excitation and emission maxima (λ) are 540 nm and 565 nm, respectively.
We suggest making up a stock solution of this product by dissolving the vial contents in 1.5 mL methanol or DMSO.
