ENPP-6: Small Molecules and Peptides

ENPP-6 (Ectonucleotide Pyrophosphatase/Phosphodiesterase 6) is an enzyme that hydrolyzes choline-containing phospholipids or phosphodiesters such as lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC), glycerophosphorylcholine (GPC), sphingosylphosphorylcholine (SPC), Platelet-Activating Factor (PAF), and lysoPAF. It is predominantly expressed in oligodendrocytes, kidney, and heart under the control of Thyroid Hormone and iron.
