Background: FGFBP2

Fibroblast growth factor-binding protein 2 (FGFBP2) also known as killer-specific secretory protein (Ksp37) belongs to the fibroblast growth factor binding protein family. This is a 37kDa Th1-specific serum protein secreted by NK cells. There is a correlation between elevated levels of FGFBP2 and infection development indicating that this protein is involved with cytotoxic lymphocyte-mediated immunity.
