PD 118057 is a human ether-a-go-go (hERG) K_V11.1 potassium channel activator. Displays no major effect on I_Na, I_Ca/L, I_K1 and I_Ks currents. Causes resting membrane hyperpolarization and decreases action potential duration in rat myocytes in vitro.
